Cam Ellis

I began my accounting career in 1994 and since then have been serving clients of all walks of life, both in a business arena as well as individuals. I have extensive knowledge of multi-state taxation as well as estates and trusts. In my career I have seen many changes to tax laws and have been able to plan and strategize with my clients to achieve their goals as these changes have occurred. I want to be proactive with all of my clients and anticipate what needs to be done rather than be reactive.  This strategy helps my clients to understand their situation “now” as well as for the future and minimizes problems that can occur. I emphasize education and communication to all my clients. When a client has been educated on the tax laws, rules and documentation required for deductions this gives them the ability to ask relevant questions as well assisting in minimizing their tax liabilities. They are vested in their own situation. However, it is not always about taxes, sometimes through communication with the client, surprises are few and far between or non-existent.
